As a member of the Georgia Upstate Lakes Board of REALTORS®, you have access to free and affordable 3-hour continuing education courses offered locally throughout the year. Led by local and statewide industry experts, these courses cover a variety of timely topics designed to help you stay informed, enhance your professional skills, and meet your Georgia CE requirements.

Know Your Education Requirements
Georgia real estate licensees are required to complete continuing education for license renewal. Depending on your license type, renewal cycle, and REALTOR® membership status, requirements may include License Law, broker-specific CE, post-licensing for new licensees, Code of Ethics, and Fair Housing / Anti-Bias training.
Members are encouraged to check their GREC license record and NAR membership record to confirm which requirements are complete and which may still be needed before their renewal or training deadline.
Salesperson & CAM CE Requirements
If you hold an active salesperson real estate license with a license number above 100,000, the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) requires you to complete 36 hours of approved continuing education (CE) every four years.
This includes:

3 hours on the topic of License Law (included in the 36 hours total)
Broker CE Requirements
If you hold an active broker-type real estate license with a license number above 100,000, the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) requires you to complete 36 hours of approved continuing education (CE) every four years.
This includes:
- 3 hours on the topic of License Law (required for all licensees)
- 18 hours of Broker-specific CE (included in the 36 hours total)
New Licensee Post-Licensing Requirement (1st Year)
New licensees are required to complete a 25-hour Salesperson Postlicense course within their first year of licensure.
- The course must be approved by GREC
- Failure to complete the course within one year will result in a lapsed license
REALTOR® Membership Training Requirements
In addition to state licensing requirements, REALTOR® members must complete NAR-required training during each three-year cycle.
